Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November 1966. She is a model as well as an Irish actress. Alison Doody first made a film debut as the Bond actress with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she starred as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan was in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody began her modeling career after her being approached by a aspiring photographer. Her career has since developed into commercial modeling. Doody was averse to glamour and nude work, a rule she carried over to her acting. In 1985, after getting noticed by the directors of casting for an upcoming James Bond new film, Doody took a small part of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. She later moved to Hollywood. She took over Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson's role. She then played Flannery Sheen's wife and agent opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. Doody returned to acting in 2003, playing a small part in the British comedy The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at an awards ceremony. in 2004, Doody was in the film alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody appeared on Benjamin's Struggle (2005), an essay on the Holocaust. Doody filmed a role in Danny Dyer's film The Rapture. Then, she appeared in RTE's Medical thriller The Clinic. She was supposed to be the star of a remake in 2011 of the classic horror film The Asphyx. However, that project eventually stalled. Pam Jefferson, the character that she played in the comedy series E4's Beaver Falls during its first season, which ran for two seasons. In 2014 she appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way.
