Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born 7 July 1968, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her appearances in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst the county of DuPage, Illinoisclose to Chicago and was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the daughter of the parents of schoolteachers, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. She is of Swedish descent with roots from Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: College , and early career
She was first introduced to Hollywood through her performance as a background actor in the film Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. Later, she went with her older sister Betsy (Knox College) to Galesburg.
